Welcome to the 92nd Reunion! Welcome to the 92nd Gilwell Reunion! As Scouters from across the globe descend on the home of UK Scouting, organisers of stalls, activities and events are all setting up to give you all more information to help you with running your day to day scouting – Whether it’s a new activity,
upskilling you as a leader or showing you where next year’s jamborees are taking place, we have it all here for you. On top of that, Gilwell Park is preparing for another big celebration – the year of Gilwell’s Centenary is coming up! To mark this celebration and to support the movement
in some of the most deprived areas in the UK – there is a Guinness World Record attempt which all groups can take part in! More details of that will be released this weekend! Finally, look out for some of our newest ambassadors visiting the event and
experiencing your passion for Scouting first hand. As always, your volunteer media team are here to try and capture the highlights of the weekend. We would love to hear from you over the weekend, so please get in touch via any of the methods on the back of the newspaper.

Who fancies a Jam Roll? A real treat is coming to Gilwell Reunion this year and not the kind we serve to Cubs with Custard. The Rolls Royce that was gifted to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell from the Scouts in 1929, will be revisiting after spending six years away. Eccles, the Caravan, is already based at Gilwell
and can be seen by the faith path. Jam Roll was bought from the previous owners by a group of Scouters who formed the B.P Jam Roll Limited Charity to look after the pair. You can see Jam Roll in all its glory on Saturday at the front of the White House.

friendship and solidarity whilst raising money to help support Scouting in some of the most deprived areas. If you would like to get involved drop by the fundraising stand next to the promise pathway to make your pledge.

New Year, New Tech
With every event, the need to communicate grows, and Reunion is no different. However, this time, technology has taken a step futher. Now you can get all the information you need from inside your pocket with the Gilwell Reunion App, available on both Apple and Android. Replacing the mini guide, the App has a complete list of Exhibitiors and where to find them, a complete timetable for the weekend and an interactive map to show you whats around. If that wasnt enough, the app has also has a public wall posting system (like facebook) and private messaging from the directory of people who have logged in. You can also use it to get in touch with the
Reunion Express! As a final reason to download the app, timetables are constantly being updtaed and you can get both reminders and notifications about things you want to see! You can download the app from scouts.org.uk/reunion or via the QR code.
