Spectra Collection

Spectra is a stunning collection of contemporary frameless shower enclosures and shower screens including curved and straight glass screens, hinged panels, spacious walk ins, and hinged and sliding door enclosures, available in a wide range of sizes and configurations, plus bespoke options. In-house glass etching is available and ClearShield easy clean glass system. The Spectra frameless glass range also utilises the latest advances in waterproof bonding.The unique system was developed by Aqata’s design team to facilitate Spectra’s easy installation, as large panels can be easily transported and assembled on site. Spectra has built in wall adjustment for out of true walls, and is created from the finest materials using 8mm thick glass with polished edges toughened to EN12150-1. Quality fittings are used throughout the range with solid corner brackets, hinges and substantial handles in beautiful polished chrome. The Spectra sliding door range incorporates stylish chrome and polished stainless steel accents.The 2000mm high shower enclosures have a smooth gliding door action, with central clear seals, and discreet positive magnetic closing. This exceptional range is designed to cope with the rigours of daily showering and is ideal for power showers & body jets. Spectra is suitable for use in wet room applications or with Aqata’s wide range of fitter friendly shower trays. The versatile Aqata shower trays have a superb finish and perfectly complement the sleek lines of the Spectra shower enclosures.The low level shower trays have an optional adjustable leg and panel pack which allows flexibility with a choice of installation, low level, fitted flush to the tile or raised above the floor. Each shower tray comes complete with a quality chrome finish hi-flow waste with removable trap for easy cleaning.

The Spectra SP300 Sliding Door Recess Option creates the perfect recess enclosure for any home with pristine clear glass adding to the feeling of light and space.The generous 2000mm high single sliding door glides smoothly and effortlessly, and closes securely onto discreet magnetic door seals. The clear central seals keep shower spray at bay whilst maintaining the frameless aesthetic. Available in both left or right hand sliding door options in three standard sizes. The Exclusive Solutions ES375 Elipse Central shower enclosure is a perfect shape to complement the oval natural forms popular in bathroom designs today. The ES375 Elipse is available in clear glass and polished chrome finish and has left or right hand door options.The unrivalled sliding door action is silky smooth to operate and watertight positive seals ensure the shower enclosure is suitable for power showers and body jets. The ES375 Elipse has a dedicated low level tray exclusively designed to echo the unique shape. The tray comes complete with a fast flow waste. Elipse is complemented perfectly by the Linneal LNP254 shower pole with swan neck and round anti scale shower head. Furniture panels

Furniture Panels are available within our Exclusive Solutions range to suit many different applications and overcomes the need to construct stud walls. Aqata have developed a special H section profile to allow you to have a perfect furniture panel with many different options and the furniture will butt up to the centre of this profile giving a perfect seal.

Dwarf wall side panels are available on Exclusive Solutions and Spectra ranges.To assist installation on our fully framed Exclusive Solutions range the adjustable profile is machined to allow the side screen to sit onto the wall by 15mm and sit flush on the inside. We recommend that the wall is constructed next to the shower tray and then tiled on the inside to meet the top of the tray and form a watertight seal. All measurements must be taken after tiling and from the top of the shower tray. Dwarf wall side panels can also be angled if required, ask our technical team for details.

The top section is glass, and the lower section can be selected from the following standard options; • White polypropylene - suitable to tile on to • All over etched glass • Non standard options can also be manufactured • Furniture Panels are best suited when the width of the furniture is the same width as the enclosure panel. • Furniture panels used in place of inline panels must use a standard door, or a surcharge will be made. • Furniture panels can also be angled if required. • When ordering please complete our special furniture panel order specification form. • Please contact our sales department for further details.

ClearShield

Glass Protection System ClearShield is available on all Aqata enclosures, doors and screens. This unique product is applied to the inside of the glass and works just like ‘non-stick’ cookware, acting as a protective barrier on the surface of the glass. ClearShield protection for glass provides a surface that: Resists staining from hard water deposits Saves time and effort and is easier to clean Keeps your shower looking like new for longer Creates a more hygienic environment Does not support the growth of bacteria Unprotected glass can quickly and easily suffer permanent bonding of limescale / mineral salts onto its surface causing staining and physical damage.Water spots become very difficult, if not impossible to remove despite regular cleaning. As a result, the appearance and hygienic environment of the shower are spoiled. The surface of ClearShield glass is chemically non-reactive and ‘non-stick’. Limescale and other dirt will build up only half as fast, and will not bond to the glass. Cleaning is now a very simple task. ClearShield ‘Non-Stick’ glass is used in a wide range of domestic, commercial, industrial and marine applications. It has received major awards and recognition because of its outstanding performance, even in the harshest environments.

Linneal Shower Technical Advice Aqata has chosen to work in conjunction with the industry experts to produce a superb thermostatic shower valve with patented design that is manufactured to exacting standards. The unique cartridge design enters a new generation of thermostatic valve technology and features TMV2 approved anti scalding. Factored at 38°C to 44°C for safe showering temperatures our thermostatically controlled shower valves have no need for the red button system. • Precise flow control • Precise thermostatic control to +/- 1°C even when there is a change in water pressure • To prevent scalding the valves have full thermal protection for either hot or cold water shut off. Automatic shutdown within 1.5 seconds if hot or cold water supplies fail • The valve cartridge is highly resistant to limescale/calcium build up even in hard water areas • Unique integral waterway construction with innovative reverse flow adaptability • Ceramic disc cartridge on/off control • Suitable for use with all systems, gravity fed, pumped, unvented high pressure or fully modulated combi boilers • Complete brass body valve with front access shut off valves for easy maintenance

• Thermostatic concealed shower valve • Polished chrome control knobs and valve plate • The valve can deliver 8.8 litres per minute at 0.1 Bar Pressure and operate to a maximum pressure of 5 Bar. Usage Watertightness is a key consideration when choosing your shower enclosure. If you require complete water retention especially when using power showers and body jets choose from our framed enclosures or the Spectra Sliding Door Collection. Install your enclosure in a well ventilated area as steam and condensing vapour can result in mineral deposits/build up. Please note that with shower screens and walk in enclosures water spray may extend beyond the length of the glass panel, dependent upon the power of the shower and its position. Please ensure a suitable waterproof and sealed floor finish is used outside the showering area. Some Exclusive Solutions and Spectra products have pre-assembled frames. Please consider the site access available and dimensions when ordering sliding door enclosures or large panels of glass.
