Use of high performance glass and glazing on all orientations provides cost efficiency (low-e insulated frames). The direct heat impact is reduced with balconies and projections designed to create an offset on every level. At the same time, a minimum 2% daylight factor is achieved by keeping sufficient size of window opening as per the carpet area of each room. The podium parking level with its fabricated jail design, creates an aesthetical elevation and also provides ventilation to the area. AAC blocks are used for walls and low-VOC paints span across the walls. To control the pollution level in the public and private areas, there are dedicated smoking zones with exhaust systems and signage, charging stations for electrical cars and bikes in every 50 parking spots, and no vehicle zones in certain areas.

Sustainable initiatives include a sewage treatment plant, rainwater harvesting and a vermi-culture pit. The facade is designed with the use of Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) to attain the desired shape of the residential tower. GRC is lighter due to the thin skin thickness used, and has a wide flexibility in design and manufacture, which enables it to reproduce most architectural styles and features. The material has high tensile strength while being flexible and resistant to cracking. As it is made of minerals, it does not burn easily and functions as a thermal regulator. Other key characteristics that make GRC interesting to work with is its non-corroding behaviour, high damping capacity, and low thermal expansion. Furthermore, artistic embellishments are also possible on GRC. Ekta Tripolis was awarded the Best Upcoming Green Project of the Year by Construction Times Builders Awards 2015.
