LA provides musical and theatrical performances through three venues; including The Gendron Franco Center, a performing arts organization that celebrates Franco-American heritage as well as cultures from around the world. The Maine Music Society is also housed at the Franco Center, and features the Maine Music Society Chorale, the Maine Music Society

Or, if miniature golf better suits you, Taber’s Miniature Golf & Driving Range is the place to be. Boating, fishing, walking along the picturesque Auburn Riverwalk, or relaxing in one of LA’s many parks are also great ways to enjoy the outdoors. One event not to be missed is the Great Falls Balloon Festival, where every August thousands gather at Simard-Payne Memorial Park along the Androscoggin River to see dozens of colorful balloons fill the skies.
