Marvelous Forts of Rajasthan: Chittorgarh Fort – This fort was constructed in 7th century by Mauryans and the largest fort in the world. It is located at the height of 590 ft. and was the former capital of Mewar. This fort has total of 7 gates namely Bhairon Pol, Hanuman Pol, Pandon Pol, Ganesh Pol, Jodla Pol, Laxman Pol and the largest gate is Ram Pol.
