SCHOOL UNIFORM
GIRLS (SIXTH FORM)
General Appearance To mark their growing independence and maturity, Sixth Formers are given a degree of flexibility in uniform matters. They are therefore allowed to wear their own tailored plain suit at Reigate Grammar School. Accordingly, they are expected to take pride in what they wear, and to be smartly and soberly dressed. • One pair of simple stud earrings, one in each lobe, is permitted, as is a simple plain necklace. If you wear extra jewellery, the Heads of Sixth Form reserve the right to confiscate it. • No nose piercings are to be worn. • Hair should be of a conventional style and only dye of a natural colour is allowed. • Make-up should be discreet, professional and look natural. • Outdoor coats should be without large logos and should be long enough to cover the blazer. Denim, leather and corduroy coats are not suitable. • You should not wear headphones around your neck, although these can be used during independent study time.
