Titanic Aquatic Almost 100 years ago Titanic set sail on her maiden voyage. The grand ship was said to be “unsinkable,” but history would prove wrong as Titanic hit an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. This elusive story has captured the hearts of millions and the story has been told time and again. The Georgia Aquarium is honored to have the new exhibit Titanic Aquatic. Titanic Aquatic opened August 22 and has fascinated vistors alike. At this exhibit you will see authentic artificats as well as participate in hands-on interactive experiences. The Georgia Aquarium is proud to have 190 artificats that were recovered from the wreckage that ill-fated night in April 1912. 40 of the artificats have never been seen before and will make their debut at this exhibit. The exhibit will take visitors through interavtive displays and high definition video presentations. Guests will see Titanic’s construction, maiden voyage, sinking and recovery of wreckage.

Sleepover
Guests can now buy tickets for adult sleepovers at the Georgia Aquarium! When the lights go out, you can be there to see what the aquatic life is up to. $100 is the cost to spend the night and you must be 18. Admission includes a $10 food voucher behind-the-scenes tour, breakfast and loads of fun! Check in is between 6-8 p.m. “Love in the Aquarium” will be held Feb. 14, 2009. This event if for couples. This event lasts from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Guests should bring pillows, sleeping bags, and other necessairy items. Guests will sleep in a community area beside the giant exhibits.
