A book based on the return of Akbar in 2017 and his encounter with a smartphone, a magical tile helping him find his way back to Agra, with every feature, he unfolds the difference this tile could have on him 412 years ago if it existed.
412 years ago, Akbar finds himself in the 21st century feeling completely lost in his surrounding. He instantly craves to go back to Agra, his homeland just to finish the unfinished business. Not quite knowing what to do, he approached a gathering half expecting people to instantly recognize him and give him a set of directions.
What he got was something entirely different. People ridiculed him on his outfit and deserted him, leaving him at a crossroad, wondering whether to go left or right. Lost for answers Akbar found himself scanning the crowd looking for a solution, doing which he noticed something common and very different to anything he had seen.
Everyone around him seemed to preoccupied with a peculiar object. Something that seemed like a miniature tile slab and seemed to have magical powers. Looking at the way people took care of it and constantly held it; He presumed it had the answer to everything.
He later saw people conversing with the magical slab, which led him to think that it very well might be a new type of human being. One that was small and compact, which led to people carrying them and keeping them safe. A puzzled Akbar stood there wondering about this new human being he just witnessed. Intrigued by this new human, he began following a man from the gathering and keenly observing his actions. “Had man created man?
To his surprise the magical tile had a voice. A voice, which the man was very keen to listen, A voice which he followed and trusted. The man spoke to the voice like it was one of his own, he greeted it with a “Hey Siri and then asked it some sort of questions, this made Akbar think, was the name of the person this human talking to Siri?
What kind of things does this tiny little thing do? But to his surprise this tiny thing could do a lot more than what humans could, this magic tile seemed to have the power to lead the man to his desired destination, by just showing the road and narrating to the man which way is the right way causing Akbar to believe that this could be the solution to guiding him back to Agra.
Amidst all the chaos of everyone doing something or the other with Siri, he saw one person peacefully sitting on a bench not saying anything but listening to it talk, talk endlessly for hours, Akbar now knew this wasn’t anything ordinary and didn’t only do errands but said something, something that sounded like a story And it was then he realized this tile could also read to you. In the next few days, Akbar with his desire to master this magic tile, learnt all the tile had to offer. .
This sparked a chain of thoughts in Akbar's head, He thought about the advantages of having this magic tile back in his time. He would never have had to bother about contacting people, a press of a button would have done everything, and He wouldn't have needed his ministers and courtiers .
The one thing that akbar realized was, this was it the it, that all the changes the future had would make him stop wondering about all the things he couldnt do, due to his shortcomings like Dyslexia. It would allow him to pursue art, music and architecture with constant dependancy. Akbar had started now mastering this magical tile and continued his journey to Agra with a though of change over the years.
