He talks about what's "Between The Concrete & The Clouds" How was the recording of "Between The Concrete & The Clouds"? It was fun, we did it at Chris' house up in Stratford, CT, mostly on weekends throughout the month of February. Stayed up late working in his basement, would come upstairs to cook or play with his beautiful baby boy Benjamin. It felt really comfortable while also being intense and productive.

How does it differ from previous material? I think it sort of amplifies and improves on what came before. I wanted to continue to work with some of the rock dynamics we'd been exploring through "Brother's Blood" and the live shows since, but focus more on tightness and concision formally. I think the songs as a result are possibly more focused, more fully realized.

What are your favorite albums at the moment? I haven't been listening to a ton of music but when I have it's generally been stuff that's not exactly new-new. "On The Beach" by Neil Young... Newer stuff is "Believers" by AA Bondy and "1 2 Desperate Straight Lines" by Telekinesis.

Would you like to come to Portugal? What's the concept behind it? I'd love to. Can you make that happen It's not a concept record, really. If your music were to be adapted into for me? I'll be waiting for the call... I think it's a snapshot of a person, or film, what story would it tell? people, in transition. It's a cycle of songs What it's like inside one person's head.
