While public health research has made it clear for decades that the built environment has a direct impact on the health outcomes of occupants, COVID-10 has intensified the message. Survey says… • Residential projects located in walkable districts with plenty of amenities and access to nearby services command higher rents.
• Residential projects that conduct regular maintenance and implement operational strategies to clean, monitor and improve the building have higher occupant satisfaction ratings.
• Residential projects that offer healthy food access (via food courts, lobby offerings) represent a major opportunity for residential developers.
