Film, Digital, NFT and the Digital Age

Even though the world is becoming more digitized, we will remain humans Web3 is a transformative and beautiful technology, but our present reality will be around for a while.
Those working in the digital art world must acknowledge the intersection of traditional and nontraditional forms of expression.
NFT art aims to create an environment that encourages people to explore and interact with its unique digital creations. To do so, we must build a bridge between technology and art. Through events, exhibitions, and showcases, we can provide various experiences that allow people to connect with this new form of expression
The De nition of an NFT
NFT (non-fungible token) is unlike other cryptocurrencies and can’t be substituted for anything else. For instance, Bitcoin and other similar digital currencies are fungible, meaning that they can be traded

for each other without a ecting their value. But NFT is di erent. It is a unique currency that can be used to carry authenticity and ownership.
The NFT craze is the byproduct of living in a quarantined environment. Once the world begins to return to its normal routine, the tides will turn. However, on the other hand, this technology has also changed the way people view the digital world For a long time, digital artists had been largely ignored, as they could only get a few likes and shares on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and ArtStation. Now, they can nally be recognized for their work.
The Impact and Magnitude of NFTs in the Digital Age
If you’ve been following the lm industry, you’ll know that many lmmakers are intensely sensitive to the environment in which their stories are set. This is understandable, as these individuals put in the time and e ort to create their work.
However, it’s also important to note that lmmakers like Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino don’t want their movies to be viewed on a device that doesn’t provide the necessary presentation quality. The depth and texture, and scale of their characters’ faces are some of the things that make a lm’s presentation so captivating. While images can be compelling and provocative, they are rarely as impactful on a smaller stage.
Unfortunately, not all NFT art can be appropriately appreciated when viewed on a smartphone or a nano-scale pro le picture. Despite the advancements that have been made in LCDs, most people still need to be willing to spend thousands of dollars on an NFT frame
Sharing and Connecting
The best way to appreciate art is by sharing it. While listening to music can be enjoyable, it can’t replace the feeling of being with a group of people who sing along to a song. As an art director, I prefer watching a lm in a theater
In terms of providing a communal experience, digital art showcases and galleries o er the same level of value as traditional mediums. Art greatly enhances a community experience by allowing people to connect with one another and share their similarities and di erences. It also mirrors society’s reality.
For NFT art, the interactions go beyond traditional platforms such as concert halls and viewing rooms. At the festival held in California this year, artists created a collaborative mural using NFT art. The event’s attendees were encouraged to contribute their pieces to the mural
Recognizing NFT Artists
Film festivals like South by Southwest and the New York Film Festival allow audiences to get a deeper understanding of the work of lmmakers by interviewing them after their lms have premiered. Similarly, events such as NFT|LA and VeeCon expose us to new individuals and provide us with a glimpse into the mysterious world of creative expression.
This allows us to explore the origins of art, which is very important since it will enable us to understand its purpose and intentions. Most of the time, artists bene t from the NFT movement as it allows them to avoid the politics and intermediaries that can ruin their work.
Despite the potential of blockchain and NFTs, there still needs to be a gap between the future and the present We can bridge this gap and help close it through such events Artists still need to be appropriately acknowledged They are often overshadowed by the industry’s criticism without a platform for them.
