Over the last fifteen years we’ve learnt a lot about supporting trades businesses with health and safety and ‘Hassle Free’ our retained consultancy service has been designed with this in mind. We understand that health and safety can be a headache, with ever changing legislation, accreditation schemes and client expectations. Whatever your health and safety needs are, ‘Hassle Free’ is here to help.

How much does Hassle Free cost?

How do I contact my named advisor?

Hassle Free costs from just £100 per month (excluding vat) and includes everything listed under ‘what’s included’.

Can you assist with SSIP Schemes?

How is the documentation presented?

Yes we can, and full support with one scheme is included in ‘Hassle Free’. We’ll help you gain and maintain SSIP approval with the likes of CHAS, EXOR, Construction Line, FASET, Safe Contractor, SMAS and Acclaim. We’ve extensive experience in this area, create all documentation with this in mind and importantly fulfil the role of ‘competent safety advisors’

We encourage you to use our on-line portal to review, comment on and access your documents. You can also store them here as well. If you require folders or van information packs, no problem we’ll happily provide these. Do you provide training?

We ask clients to commit for a minimum period of one year, after which we ask that a month’s written notice be provided if you wish to cancel the service.

Yes – we provide an extensive range of training and development courses including first aid, fire, manual handling and asbestos. Courses can be run at your premises or our Warmley training centre. As a retained customer you’ll automatically receive a 10% discount off all Acorn courses.

Who owns the documentation produced?

Who in our business can contact you?

You do, it’s yours and you’ve paid for it. We don’t copyright our forms nor lock everything down in PDF’s. We’ll happily provide original documents in Word/Excel on request. Where we use PDF’s (for example fire risk assessments) we’ll happily update content as required.

It’s really up to you – some businesses simply pass our details onto members of the staff team who contact us directly, others prefer to have contact through a named individual.

Is there a tie in?

Are there any hidden costs? If any additional work is required in addition to ‘Hassle Free’ such as a fire risk assessment or support with additional SSIP accreditations we’ll discuss this with you first and provide a separate quotation.

Acorn Health and Safety aim to provide a prompt response to all enquiries received during normal office hours, whether they originate in person, by e-mail or telephone. If you require an out of hours contact number please let us know.

We guarantee to respond to all telephone enquires within 4 hours and e-mail enquiries within 24 hours or the next working day. Following initial contact subsequent responses are prioritised to ensure that ALL customers receive the support required at the right time. When you subscribe to Hassle Free you’ll be given the name of a lead advisor, a real person with a real desk, someone who we feel is best placed to support you and your business.
