Dear Canadian Photographer:

We are always looking for Canadian images by Canadian photographers. Landscape, Cityscape, People / Portraits, Wildlife, and Not so wild animals. If your image has a Canadian flag in the image, it goes to the top of the pile. We like Funny, Serious, Artsy, Social Commentary or Just a great Holiday Pic. Please no Selfies.

The images must be:

1 – JPG

2 – 6 inches on the widest side

3 – 300 dpi

4 – File name must be – Your Name – Title - Location.jpg

(NOTE: please include spaces between the words in the file name.)

– example – Mary Smith – Children Playing – Brampton – Ontario.jpg

– example – Mike Jones – Storm Coming Over Mountains – Banff – Alberta.jpg

5 – Remove visible signature before you send.

SIZE: Some amateur photographers don’t understand the size request. It is simple – in PhotoShop go to: click on Image, then click on Image Size. In that dialogue box you will change the size and the dpi. The image should be 6 inches on the widest side and the resolution should be 300 dpi. It is simple, change the inches and the dpi and save the image.

If your image is too large we will not save it – it makes our layout too heavy, we will not save it. If your image is too small it will print all pixilated – we will not save it. If it has a visible signature we will not save it. We will give credit under each image. See past issues.

Dead Line: We do not have a deadline for images – we publish a Summer and a Winter issue. We stockpile images. If/when we use your image we will let you know.

We will give credit: Your name, the title and the location will be used under each photograph.

How Many: Send a max of 5 images by email. Send max 15 per year. We stock pile image and delete the ones we have used or will not use. We are happy to have 15 on file.

Send To: Send your images as an attachment to DevourArtAndLitCanada@gmail.com with a subject heading “For Devour”. Do not send a link to a drop box. We will not open it. Send by email only.

Back Issues: See the types of images we have used. You can find back issues at: www.issuu.com/richardgrove1
