An action-based photo of me dressed up as a pumpkin-masked reaper. The prop scythe and mask during Halloween a couple of years that I had stored in my room.

Edited Photos: Edit 1: Hue/Saturation Edit. This edited photo was the first photo that I made in Photoshop. A photo of myself of was masked and place in front of a hue altered background. Edit 2: Nature in my Lens. This is another edited photo that features me masked and standing in front of a photographed background. It also includes a leafy background layered over my glasses lens, with finishing hue overlay. Edit 3: Moonlit Cave. This edited photo features a photo of a Bionicle figure that I took the day after the exercise and had it masked. I then found a free background of beach-side cave that I edited for an opening for photo of a cloudy sky and a moon layered on top. I then finished it off with red hue included on top to all of the photos. Edit 4: Zombie Photo Edit. This last edited photo features a photo of me with my mouth open while wearing a hoodie. I then layered on top a free cracked wall texture while changing the hue/saturation to give myself a green hue. I lastly included an eyeball on my tongue to give off the weird off feel of the whole piece in front of a dark photo of bushland.

Photo Mashup made in Photoshop. Title: Never Underestimate Fires.

Scrapped Halloween Mashup.

Final Mashup Result.

Mashup History: Development and Final. Development: Scrapped Halloween Mashup.

The Mashup was project that I had fun working on with the programme Photoshop. At first, I was going to do a Halloween themed Mashup. The now-scrapped mashup was down in one day. However, it had a few problems. One was trying to find a free image of a cat that would fit in the hoodie. However, the cat wasn’t able to cover up all the skin of my neck and chest. After this point, I decided to make another mashup, as the first one was starting to feel random and detached after adding more spooky theme images. Even the inclusion of a bush to cover the error did not help.

Final: Final Mashup Result.

After starting over, I decided to keep the cat theme with a different theme in mind; Nature vs Fire. First, I found a cute image of a kitten, a nice image of a mountain and a large hedge and then combined them to represent the beauty of nature. The other side of the mashup represents how nature can disappear under things such as fires, if not better looked after. I was pretty happy how the giant animal skull turned out combined with the flames surrounding it to give off the horror that fires can bring. I then finished off the piece with the addition of clouds in the background. Lastly, I included a wooden cabin in the middle and some mossy, topped with an oil painted filter of all objects except the kitten, flames, cloud, skull and a wooden house that adds a beautiful serene look under the growing destruction of the other side of the mountain.
