At London Colney roundabout take A414 signposted Hemel Hempstead/Watford. Hidden turn into ground after approximately 500 metres (just after lay-by) signposted “Sports Ground”. Follow road around past the rugby club to ground entrance.
St Albans City is a few stops on from Luton on the train. From here a 10 minute bus journey on the 84 New Barnet route with drop you with a 10 minute walk to the ground.
In the village on the banks of the River Colne is The Green Dragon which has 2 ales on cask including Pride and Doom Bar. The Bull, also near the river has a cosy lounge and fireplace and serves St Austell’s Tribute and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. If travelling by public transport, a pit stop at The Horn close to St Albans station would be recommended or a short walk to the Robin Hood.
