ABOUT ME 曾 瑞 慶 Rich Tseng 84 / 10 /17 Aged 23 Hi, I’m Rich. I’m a peaceful person, enjoying thinking more than talking, usually being calm and stable. I’m also a slowto-warm-up guy, not easy to get familiar with others. But I still have things that I’m passionate about. Persuing beauty in life, is always the very first thing that I’m fascinate with. Also, spend time on reading stories by watching movies. Exercising is also one in my list. All in all, I’m really honor to have major in interior design. I’m so looking forward to the work and I will seize every opportunities to create great work.

CHENGLONG WETLAND, YUNLIN By facing the issue of aging society, low birth rate and the natural crisis, the village is also struggle with the economic depression. In this project, we are asked to figure out the way to slow down the problems by designing the house.

MICRO THEATER, MULTIMEDIA CLASSROOM This room was designed to teach the youth in a totally different way, it could be a Flipped Classroom, also could be rent for other activities. The process might go by watching videos or group discussing and having presentation.

| Replace 3F’s floor with Fishing net to connect the Reading rooms between floors.

| For increasing fun while reading, I create two resting aisles for kids between the rooms.



A COUPLE’s APARTMENT, TAOYUAN The apartment is owned by a couple, and they usually working abroad. The need of the house is simple, they basically need a place to rest and a space can build the connection with family and friends.

GOGORO’s OFFICE , TAICHUNG The project is mainly about choosing any kind of brand to design the factory office for them. And I pick the electric scooter brand : gogoro. Try to break through the traditional type of office and build a unique one.

The common properties of clean energy is the “ purity ” and “ transparency ”. The electric scooter is activated by motor, which is clean in the comparison of the old ones.

For the

CONCEPT

of not wasting extra energy, I created a simple flow to run through the space.

Separated the space into three parts, the front, the middle, and the arounds.

Apply the elements of clean energy into the space to achieve the visual transparency.

ZHONGXIN MARKET, TAICHUNG ZHONGXIN is no longer an alive traditional market, it transforms to another type of architecture in commercial activities recent years. Because of the location, more and more artists coming here to persue their own lifestyles by being

part of the market.

因都市更新的緣故,城市中產生了許多被時代拋棄的老舊空間,而傳統市場 便是其中的一份子。

在台中有一個市場它也是一座都市更新後衰退的建築空間。但因位於美術園 道上,且在美術館的正對面,因地域上的藝文氣息盛行,也帶動未來藝文相 關活動在忠信市場萌芽的契機。

但市場現在的發展還處在未完全成熟的狀態,不同於其他的傳統市場,這裡 依然存在原有的住戶,使市場並非能完整地做整建重劃,只能緩慢地從各空 間角落以不同的面貌轉變著。

綜觀現有的市場活化成功案例,大多數都依然存有老舊攤販,但忠信市場的 老舊攤販卻僅剩兩三家,忠信市場是否能重返過去人潮活絡的情景,而它又 該以何種姿態重新與外界連結。

對於未來忠信市場的活化,希望能夠以文化傳遞為目標,延 續美術館的藝文氣息,打造一個跨領域交流的平台。並藉由 人與人之間的交流,再次地去實踐傳統市場的場所精神。

空間未來活化的策略主要以延續美術館的意象為主,所以在空間 整體的形塑上更開放與自然環境鏈結。根據市場的空間紋理,絕 大部分的新興藝文空間皆在市場的後半段有機的散落著,而前段 為過去攤位的廣場 讓整體空間的布局從寬鬆到密集的安排。

範圍的選定上,希望以前段的閒置廣場為第一期的規 劃重點,再延伸至各個周圍與後段空間。以前段的空 間作為延續美術館氣息與連接後段經濟活動的中心,
