SHELTER/BALL FIELD INFORMATION

*We will begin taking 2018 shelter rentals on Tuesday, January 2. 1) Check availability online at www.mounthorebwi.info (under Departments/Services tab, then Park Shelter Information). There is a calendar at the bottom of this page. Using the arrow at the top right corner, choose which shelter you would like to view. Then using the down arrow on the top left of the calendar (by the title of the month), you can choose which month to look at. If a shelter is available, it will not have anything listed for that day; but if the shelter is reserved, it will say “busy.” You can click on the “busy” line and it will show you the time it is reserved for. Shelters are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can call the Recreation Department with questions at 437-3400 x1. 2) Once availability is determined, you must stop in to the Recreation Department to fill out the reservation form and make payment. Reservation forms can be printed off from our website. Shelter fees are: Level 1 shelters without kitchenette (Boecks, Grundahl Open Picnic, and Waltz) $50R and $70NR. Level 2 shelters with kitchenette (Gundahl Enclosed, Liberty and Sunrise) $60R and $80NR. Ball field fees are $50 for single weekday use, $75 for single weekend use, and $125 for whole weekend use. 3) If your shelter requires a key, we will let you know when you can pick it up. Keys must be returned to the Recreation Department within two days of your rental. 4) A confirmation of your reservation will be given to you. Please bring this confirmation notice with you the day of your function. 5) Refunds will not be provided if you cancel your reservation less than two weeks prior to your reservation date. If your event is cancelled due to poor weather, and a rain date cannot be agreed upon, you will receive a full refund.
