Give your back or knees the support and relief they need to reduce your pain
NAME OF BUSINESS: All American Do-It Center Year established: 1980 Tell us a little about your business: What do you do? We are a home center! We offer a full service lumber yard, flooring, lighting, and paint departments. We can design your bathroom and kitchen cabinetry and counter tops with a wide variety of options to offer you. We have a greenhouse, seasonal departments and much, much more to satisfy our customer’s needs. How many “neighbors” do you employ? We currently employ 30 The Folks at the All Americ an Do-It Center are always “Thinking Local” associates at this location. Recognizing you can do business anywhere…. why are you here? We came from humble beginnings with our first lumber yard started in 1980. In 2010 Brian Buswell, owner of All American Do-It Center, recognized the need and opportunity for a brand new, ground up location. After extensive market and site analysis, and visits to fellow Do-It Best member locations across the country, Buswell zeroed in on Richland Center as the ideal location for his new home center. What is one thing you wish everyone knew about your business? We have a large paint department and experienced folks to help you with any questions you may have. We also have an extensive equipment rental department and we deliver and pick up for you. We can accommodate anyone’s needs- from the professional contractor to the D.I.Y. homeowners. What makes your business unique? We are a family owned, not a big box store. We and our associates live and are involved in our communities. We have great products but they are also backed by associates that are knowledgeable and friendly. We can help you from planning stage of your project all the way through to completion. Other than providing jobs and paying taxes what are some other ways your give back to the community? We are members of the Rotary club and we donate to many community group fundraisers. We support the area schools, veterans and civic organizations in their many endeavors. Parting thoughts…. please share anything else you’d like our readers to know. We have so much to offer, and yet there are people who say to us after 2 years in business, “I’ve never been in this store, it’s really nice!” What are you waiting for? Visit us today! A Blessing to Families and Residents Alike Isabelle and Debbie, mother and daughter, are happy with Isabelle’s new home.
Isabelle Froh would have been married for 76 years on August 17, 2016. Now 95 years old, she was born around Jefferson and Watertown. She and her husband had a service station and house keeping cabins on the Mississippi River. They have five children, four boys and one girl. Isabelle entered Pine Valley Community Village’s Rehabilitation and Therapy after suffering a broken hip. This was her second experience here. Isabelle’s daughter, Debbie Lord, says that her mother liked the stay at Pine Valley. The family is very happy with the care that Isabelle receives. Last year, it became a struggle for Isabel to live alone on a daily basis. It was a difficult decision to make, but when Isabelle was ready, she said she wanted to move back to Pine Valley Community Village. She liked it there. The day that she moved in, Isabelle said, “I’m not even going to turn around and look back.” Isabelle already knew some of the employees and one of them was Debbie’s best friend from childhood. Rosie is “like a daughter” to Isabelle. And Rhonda, who the family knows, is, as Debbie says, “such a hard worker and good with Mom.” The head nurse, Rachelle, talks with Isabelle about sports— Isabell had played basketball and baseball in high school.

As Debbie says, “For us, the stress of the world is lifted. We know she’s getting round-the-clock care and don’t worry about her falling. What a blessing.”
