PEORIA, AZ – L. Suzanne “Suzie” (Hoskins) Krohn, age 77, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from complications of influenza. Suzanne loved her family, her friends, golf, and was a voracious reader. She was proud to have experienced farm life, small town living, and suburban existence while traveling across much of the United States. Suzanne was born in Dodgeville on September 30, 1940, the middle of three daughters born to David Bennett and Doris Lucille (Beatty) Hoskins. Suzie spent her childhood in Richland Center, where her mother was a homemaker and her father was the Assistant Post Master. Suzie graduated from Richland Center High School in 1958. She was a long-term resident of Richland Center, WI, Madison, WI, Palatine IL, and Peoria, AZ. Suzanne married the love of her life, William E. Krohn of Viroqua, on February 6, 1960. Bill and Suzanne were married for over 57 years. They met while both worked at the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. After raising her three boys, Suzanne worked as a fashion buyer for both men’s and women’s fashion at Twiloby’s and Dalmatians’ respectively. She was an avid golfer and scored one career hole-in-one. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband William E. Krohn of Peoria, AZ; two sons, William D. (Bridgette) Krohn of Goodyear, AZ, and Jeffrey (Monica Luciano) Krohn of Troy, IL; and her daughter in law, Kathy (Mueller) Krohn of Palatine, IL. She is also survived by her loving sister Sally Hoskins of Richland Center, WI. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, David and Doris Hoskins, and by her devoted son, Steven Krohn. She had many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved her very much. Suzanne will be missed. The family has designated the ALS Association for memorial contributions. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center, WI. Rev. Craig Peach officiated, with burial having followed in the Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, WI, followed by a luncheon at Quail Run Golf Links from 1-4 p.m. Visitation was held on
