The 1st service is AI bred to a Holstein Bull and the 2nd service to a Hereford Bull. This herd is carrying a lot of red factor. Cows are milked in a stanchion barn and free stall housed. Feed consists of silage, haylage, dry hay, and high moisture corn. Matt is currently shipping a 69 lb herd avg. with a January peak of 85 lbs, and cows reaching up to 120 lbs. I have grown up showing at the Iowa County Fair since I have been a 4-H Cloverbud. I look forward to the fair every year with all the projects, animals, food and Thisentertainment.yearIwill be a Sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Crookston, majoring in Equine Business Management and minoring in Communications. While attending UM-Crookston I’m involved in many different clubs. I’m on the Women’s Equestrian Team, competing on the IHSA team. I also work with different species of animals to get ready for different FFA and 4-H judging events that are held at the University throughout the school year. I look forward to spending time with 4-H and FFA youth, their families, fair goers, as well as community members this year.
This will be my 7th year as a 4-H member of the Five Point 4-H Club where I serve as the Vice President. I will be a sophomore at Dodgeville High School this Fall. I am on the Dodgeville High School trap shooting team and the school bowling team. This year I was elected to be my schools FFA secretary for the chapter. At the fair you can nd me in the exhibit building where I take many projects including sewing, foods and nutrition, photography and more.
