Todd J. Beatty

Todd J. Beatty, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1971 in Richland Center, to Buzz and Jean (Longseth) Beatty. Todd graduated from Richland Center High School in 1989. He and his former spouse, Jacki (Faber) Heideman had 2 children together, Alyssa (24) and Nicholas (21), who he adored. He proudly served in the United States Army with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in the Persian Gulf War and received many awards including the bronze star. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for morel mushrooms, supporting Wisconsin sports, and listening to music. He was a great storyteller with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. Todd is survived by his 2 children; his father, Buzz; his sisters, Sally (Jerry) Zogg and Vickie (Dan) Hopkins; his brother, Brian (Leanne) Beatty; many nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews, and his furry friend Billy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Beatty; and his brother, Gary Beatty. A memorial gathering will be held at Stafford Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from noon – 3:00 P.M. followed by Final Salute and Military Services held by the Local Veterans Military Memorial Honors Unit. Wearing Wisconsin sports attire to the memorial is encouraged. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Todd’s children. Pink Floyd said it best Dad – we wish you were here. Theron Lewis Jr.

Theron Lewis Jr., age 79, of Browntown passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 12, 1943 the son of Theron and Dorothy (Suhr) Lewis. He graduated from Harlem High School in Rockford in 1961. Theron proudly served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. On July 31, 1965 Theron married Arlene Walton in Basswood Church. Theron farmed, worked for the Monroe Times, and then worked for Iroquois Foundry; now known as Grede, where he retired. Theron’s family and faith were the most important things to him. He cared deeply for his wife and all his family. He enjoyed canoeing. Theron is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Rebecca (Patrick) Stietz, Rachael (Joshua) Larson, Sarah (Jason) Opie, Matthew (Shelby) Lewis, and Elizabeth (Travis) Gray; grandchildren, Logan (Haley) Stietz, Lydia Stietz, Ashly (Stanley) Bruegger, Lillian Opie, Lorelie Opie, Isabelle (Brodie) Schaeuble, Rose Lewis, Ava Lewis, Brenna Gray, Natilee Gray, Miranda Gray, Lila Gray, Silas Gray, and Penelope Gray; great-grandchildren, Drake Bruegger, Oaklynn Schaeuble, and one more expected in May; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ivan Gray; siblings, Betty Lewis and Jenny De ShazoBrown; parents-in-law, Andrew and Violet Walton; sisters-in-law, Joan Creasey and Norma Jean Ewing; and brother-in-law, Bill Hole. Funeral Services were held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Noon with Pastor Phil Butler officiating. Burial took place at Pioneer Old Cadiz Cemetery. A visitation was from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
