Arthur Thingvold Arthur Thingvold, 92, of Blue River passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Schmitt Woodland Hills. He was born on February 7, 1930, in Richland County the son of Arthur and Ellen (Smith) Thingvold. Art served in the US Army during the Korean War. On May 26, 1951, Art was united in marriage to Opal Paulson. Art enjoyed farming, hunting, and bowling. Survivors include his children: Jon (Vicki) Thingvold of Muscoda, Robin Thingvold of Blue River, David (Jacqueline)Thingvold of La Crosse, Daniel Thingvold of Blue River; Seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Troy) Day, Joshua (Brittany) Thingvold, Micah Thingvold, Caitlin (Lee) Bures, Kristopher Thingvold, Taylor Thingvold, Lia (friend Bryant Seielstad) Thingvold; Eight great grandchildren: Joseph, Piper, Cole, Morgen, Fletcher, Landynn, J.J., Emmett; Sisters: Charlene Schumate of Arlington Heights, IL, Lila Harris of Rockton, IL. Art was preceded in death by his parents, wife Opal, sister Pauline Noonan, and special friend Elaine Anderson. Elma E. Honer age 101 of Richland Center passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Pine Valley Healthcare. She was born on July 17, 1920 in Richland County, the daughter of Allen and Lillie (Auguston) Storms. Elma loved to travel and went on several trips out west, Las Vegas, Florida, Minnesota, Arizona, California and 2 cruises. She was a homemaker and loved to cook, bake and had numerous gardens of flowers, vegetables and berries. She spent many a moment visiting family and friends. Elma loved to dance and went with family and friends on several occasions. She was a loving mother and loved taking care of her family’s children as often as she could. She liked to play cards and did a lot of crocheting and sewing of dresses for the little girls. Elma is survived by her son, Merlin Cox of Lone Rock, a sister, Mary (Jay) Zimpel of Richland Center, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Lillie Storms, 3 brothers, Gerald, Floyd and Harold Storms, 3 sisters, Gladys Johnson, Vera Buyatt and Gertrude Marose. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center. Visitation was Saturday at the Stafford Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial took place at the Basswood Cemetery on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Kenneth W. Bingham, age 69, of Sextonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Richland Hospital surrounded by his family. Ken was born to Leland and Lillian (Wilson) Bingham on July 19th, 1952. On November 15, 1969, he married his sweetheart, Nancy K. Kiely, and the two have celebrated 52 wonderful years with each other. Together, they had four children and also opened their home to foster many children over the years. Ken had a large and giving heart and opened it to many. Ken’s favorite pastimes were reading, fishing, watching westerns and learning anything he could. Ken enjoyed helping others and teaching his children everything he knew. He loved spending time with his grand- and great grandchildren, instigating shenanigans. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; his four siblings, Charles, Lois, Jacob and Judith; and his son, Kenneth L. Bingham. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bingham; four siblings, Leland, Susan, Margaret and Richard; three children, Michael (Lana) Bingham, Becky (Andrew) Durst and Jason Bingham; eight grandchildren, Kendra, Kayla (Jesse), Keegan, Shane (Amanda), Brandon, Abigail, Annabelle and Allison; eight great grandchildren, Nayeli, Kira, Kai, Kaleb, Cameron, Cayden, Kohen, and Kinsley. Ken loved so many and is loved by so many. Upon Ken’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services. Memorials can be sent to the funeral home.
