The AM ensures that the company’s quality and customer service standards are consistently achieved through proper account management. This includes, but is not limited to, sales, estimating, budgeting, invoicing, and quality control through the management of horticultural practices and site personnel.

Landscape Designer/Planner (Part-Time)

The Woodridge Park District is looking for a qualified candidate to join our team on a part-time basis (approx.. 20 hr./week) in the position of Landscape Designer/Planner. Position offers schedule flexibility and the consideration for partial remote work upon request.

This individual will be responsible for assisting with the planning, design, development, administration, and construction of park and recreation areas and facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an a qualified designer to utilize their skills in the fields of parks and recreation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepare quality landscape designs, construction documents, estimates, and proposals for presentations delivered by the Design Director. Mentor landscape designers and review their project work as well as peers work. This position interacts with the design team, clients, and sales staff on a regular basis.

GENERAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

-5 plus years’ experience as a Landscape Designer

-Bachelors Degree

• Be part of the team to review design plans with crew staff and assist in project layout.

• Conduct weekly safety meetings and training for all construction staff. Reinforce safety protocols and introduce new safety regulations. General Requirements and Office Responsibilities:
