Lewis Law, LLC has provided estate and business planning since 2014. However, Matthew has been helping his clients with planning needs for over 20 years as a licensed financial advisor and insurance agent. Whether a plan requires a simple Last Will and Testament or more advanced estate planning utilizing Family Trusts, Medicaid Planning Trusts, or Special Needs Trusts, the company’s planning services assist with protecting and providing a legacy.

We will recommend the best approach to their plan to accomplish their goals, but we understand the personal circumstances, family relationships, and their personal budgets. “We also understand that not all our clients can get out and about easily. Making house calls is an important part of our client services business model. Often, we sit at our client’s kitchen table or living room, discussing their planning needs, and signing documents, making it easier for our clients,” Matthew continued. “We enjoy seeing and hearing the peace of mind that our clients have after we complete our planning services. After serving in the United States Air Force, Matthew became a financial advisor obtaining his FINRA licenses Series 66, Series 7, as well as his State of Ohio Life and Health Insurance License. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Walsh University and then earned his Juris Doctorate and master’s degrees in taxation from the University of Akron.

The office manager for Lewis Law, LLC is Matthew’s wife, MaryJoyce (MJ). MJ is a registered nurse working in the health care industry for over 20 years, having worked in the emergency room, home health care, and hospice. Along with running the law firm’s office, MJ works for a national health care insurance company as an RN Case Manager. Combining Matthew’s experience and expertise in advanced estate and business planning along with MJ’s experience in health care services, Lewis Law’s clients receive a bonus value with the relationships and services.

Together Matthew and MJ have seven adult children and several pets including Aurthur, a doodle mix with special needs who was recently adopted from the Stark County Dog Warden. The couple enjoys riding our Harley in the area, attending craft shows supporting local artisans, and visiting local entertainment events while taking in the local sights and sounds of the community.
