OUR HISTORY

Ridgeline began life as a New Zealand owned and operated specialist outdoor clothing brand at the hands of Peter Maxwell. In mid-1993 Peter began working the first Ridgeline designs and the first range was released in March/April issue of Guns and Hunting magazine. In the early years, the Ridgeline brand achieved a high level of acceptance with New Zealand Hunting and rural markets then, in 1995, the brand was acquired by the Fuller Group and has become a market leader in the Australasian hunting clothing scene and now further afield into the likes of South Africa and Western Europe. The Ridgeline philosophy has been consistent from the beginning â&#x20AC;&#x201C; to ensure that comfortable, durable performance outdoor clothing should be functional. Now with designated brand managers, Ridgeline has developed specialist fabrics and ranges to suit any challenge and environment. With characteristics of Ridgeline (warmth, comfort, durability and functionality), combined with superior designs and its own hide and seek Buffalo camo, Grassland camo and our new Nature Green Camo, Ridgeline is a market leader and the choice of hunting, farming and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The pliant 3 layer fabric is more durable with a tight knit weave more resistant to picking up unwanted burrs.
