Communications and Publicity

“The Communications and Publicity Team started the year with a reinvigorated focus on promoting Women’s Impact Network activities, events, awards, and accomplishments both internally and externally. We seek to amplify the voices in our employee resource group by elevating the valuable work Women’s Impact Network members dedicate themselves to and socializing their impact on Emerson and the broader communities we serve. Whether through internal communications, social media posts, or branding consultation, we’re here to provide support and guidance for all.”

Activities Summary • Completed the 2nd annual Women’s Impact Network Annual Report, highlighting a special message from the Executive Committee, introductory information about our mission and leaders, key initiatives, notable accomplishments and how we have improved ourselves and the communities we live in, as well as a glimpse into the future through our FY21 plans. • Launched a robust International Women’s Day social media campaign, highlighting female leaders around the globe and their unique perspectives.

• Updated the External Women’s Impact Network presentation, which can be used for conferences, recruiting events, and more. There will be an Internal version of this available soon – stay tuned for updates! • Continue to partner with the Women’s Impact Network community to provide branding expertise and refreshed content. Refreshed branding can be found in documents, presentations, and templates, which are available for all to leverage for internal event promotions and general communications.
