Born and raised in the mountains of NC, Julia Ann came into this world singing. According to her parents, Gary and Dorothy Roberts she sang before she could talk. Her family were members of the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Youth Choir traveling all around Western North Carolina singing southern gospel hymns. They toted their newborn baby girl, "Julie" with them that’s where her love for music and performing Twists of Rock and Alternative to give you a southern flavor in the mix.
