Maybe it’s not customary to leave dried mud on your customer’s conference table or a trail of blood-stained cornstalks through the hallway, but we’re Rig’Em RightTM, this is the hunting industry and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hauled samples to a sales meeting and done just that. This level of “professionalism” would’ve got me fired in my last job, but in our industry this is perfectly acceptable, and often expected, from Rig’Em RightTM. In many industries, the objective is getting the first sale; the initial product placement. The goal of a sales meeting is to impress some stiff in a business suit who’s never had a splinter, much less busted his knuckles launching a duck boat at 3am. However, at Rig’Em RightTM, we often find ourselves presenting samples that may have been used that very morning in some Mid-west duck marsh and I’m very grateful that our buyers are hunters and seem to like that. I guess there’s nothing that demonstrates our commitment to field testing like a well-worn sample, covered in mud and blood and dripping with swamp water. At Rig’Em RightTM we’re waterfowlers to the core. From our marketing firm to our social media managers, our salesforce, our shipping department and all the way to our ownership, the entire team understands that it takes blood and sweat to build good gear.
