The deign proposal looks into diferent scales of designing right from planning the entire district, to working on a zone, and single building using the basic concept of the Tubehouses, famous in Vietnam. The Tubehouse designed is the fusion of the traditional tubehouse and Nakagin Capsule Tower.

The project given was to design an university, using university of Paris as an inspiration. The essence taken from the university of Paris formed the base of the design. The university buildings being multi centre, designed along the public route and each structure had a water front. The design which I proposed was using the MAT BUILDING principles, creating pockets of open spaces and providing different levels to the university

The design intervention is to solve the issue of flooding in the Fishermans Bend area and also to create micro climate in the city to make it ecologically stable. The design interventions includes two parts, providing open canals, which replaces the main roads and providing under ground canals through the secondary roads for solving the issue of flooding. The open canals also brings in the water transport which indirectly pro motes public transport, reducing private transportation. The open canals cools downn the surrounding area. Along the open Canals are designed green spaces that acts as lungs in the site. The underground canals helps to reuse the rain water for irrigation, public toilets and private garden, thus making the city self sufficiet for water TOTAL POPULATION = 54,150 people TOTAL DWELLINGS = 24,000 units Atrea of Fishermans Bend = 3.5 Sq.Km Population expected = 54,150 people
