Coleman Family Slides

Scanned and compiled by Bill Coleman, 2011

Coleman Family Slides These slides were stored for over 50 years in a single slide carousel, never brought out as far as we can remember. I had them in my garage for several years after my folks moved to assisted living, and only recently thought to open the box and see what was inside. These are images from my parent’s honeymoon, travels, family reunions, and early birthday parties for my brother and me. I don’t recall ever seeing most of these pictures, so it was exciting to scan these images and surprise my mother with a photo book full of them. Enjoy.

Coleman Family Slides It snowed in July at Lake Tahoe on my parent’s honeymoon in 1950! In these pictures, they look young and very happy. Some of the pictures are taken with Kodachrome and are severely under-exposed, but you can still see how good looking, healthy, and full of hope they are. They remained full of health and happiness throughout their lives. What a great surprise to find these great images hiding in an old slide box.
