loans for people in need then returns the donations in hopes that the cycle will be continued. The name Kiva is derived from the Swahili word for “unity. The company takes pride in being truthful to donors about where their money is going and require a casual, collaborative workplace atmosphere which will portray their values. The design was inspired by a traditional kiva structure used by the Hopi people as a ceremonial gathering place. This concept captures the essence of harmony, signifying the unity and honesty to their clients and the bond of people in order to benefit our world.

developed from the story of its site. Eichberg Hall was was originally built as part of the Central of Georgia Railroad in 1887. The four-story, Romanesquestyle building features loft spaces, tall windows with stained glass, red brick and terra cotta ornamentation. Materials and decor for the small scale apartment derived from the science-fiction genre of “steampunk”. The steampunk theme caters to the playful and imaginative minds of the clients, as well as the era of the building. The concept results in a space where victorian meets modern, and technology meets romance.

hospitality experience of Turkish tea rituals right in the heart of Savannah. The Turkish tea room utilizes the grand scale of the existing space to set the stage for Islamic arches, vibrant color, and mosaic patterns that reflect the richness of the Ottoman Empire. The word “isik” translates to “light” and “familiar”, which is fitting for this lively place where people gather, engage in evening entertainment, and are enlightened by Turkish Culture.

next-generation living. With more people living in cities and less people owning vehicles in the upcoming years, the parking garage structure will be under utilized. The pad is a home designed specifically for students which will fit within two parking spaces. It offers a convenient place right on campus for eating, bathing, sleeping, and studying. Moreover, it has a fantastic panoramic view of the Atlanta skyline.
