Lulu Luchaire created PLANET BUYBACK, a community that supports land and ocean conservation through land purchase, ecosystem management, climate mitigation strategies, empowerment of indigenous peoples and plastic pollution solutions, because she was frustrated by the complexity of choosing charitable organizations to support.

She decided to establish a very simple platform where you can donate monthly and experts handle the selection of the projects.

Planet Buyback funnels subscriber contributions to eco-conscious initiatives, such as a plasticrecycling plant in Uganda or coastal preservation in Indonesia. The organization vets potential recipients based on factors like leadership, scalability, and fi scal transparency. Final selections are then made by co-founder Gillian Wynn, who sits on the leadership council for Conservation International.
