Our new range of upgrade headlamp bulbs: NIGHT BREAKER® 200, provide motorists with a halogen upgrade bulb that is up to 200 percent brighter than required by law, significantly improving road illumination and safety. We recognize that better visibility can help drivers detect traffic signs and hazards more quickly and therefore allows them to react faster, improving road safety. By using cutting-edge technology, NIGHT BREAKER® 200 delivers a high light output. These powerful headlamp bulbs are up to three times brighter and provide up to 20 percent whiter light. The light beam extends up to 150 metres and the strong luminosity of the bulb provides improved, wider visibility. Better visibility can help drivers recognize traffic signs and hazards more quickly and react to them swiftly without incidence, improving road safety. This new range of performance bulbs complements our existing halogen and xenon bulb portfolio of the NIGHT BREAKER® series. The new visual feature is the mirrored chrome tip, which gives the bulb its modern look.

Welcome What an unusual year it has been. The global pandemic has affected us all, but the seasons still come and go, and the lighting season is here once again. At OSRAM HQ we have been busy further developing the OSRAM range of automotive lighting products to help keep motorists moving and safe as they do so. In this issue of Mainbeam we are pleased to share with you some of the new products and portfolio updates including: our top selling PERFORMANCE range of NIGHT BREAKER® upgrade bulbs, some changes to our DESIGN portfolio which includes COOL BLUE® INTENSE and some new LED retrofits for 24V vehicles and Motorcycles. These new and exciting products and range enhancements are sure to deliver an additional revenue stream for all our stockists and partners; designed to assist in up selling and adding value to your OSRAM proposition. DESIGN portfolio gets a fresh new look! We have revamped our well-established COOL BLUE® and DIADEM® range of halogen, HID and auxiliary bulbs, relaunching the range with a new look, enhanced features and new part numbers. Our team of experts reviewed the ranges in detail and have significantly improved the bulbs features and have upgraded the Kelvin and brightness claims as a result. The range now also has a new look with updated turquoise colour packaging, a more modern design and the inclusion of a QR code on the backside of the packs for easy access to additional product information online.
COOL BLUE® INTENSE (next generation) The changes to the range will mean the new CBN (COOL BLUE® INTENSE NEXT GENERATION) part numbers will become available and phased in when old stocks of CBI (COOL BLUE® INTENSE) part numbers have been phased out and sold through. The new COOL BLUE® INTENSE (next generation) bulbs will feature extra white light for that LED look, and a colour temperature of up to 5000K as well as up to 100 percent more brightness.

These will replace the current XENARC® COOL BLUE® INTENSE (CBI) range. The bulbs themselves will have the same optical appearance and new CBN part numbers will apply. DESIGN Relaunch
DIADEM® CHROME Our DIADEM® CHROME range will also take on the new packaging design changes, which will be phased in when stocks of the old packaging have phased out. The bulbs in the DIADEM® CHROME range only appear amber when switched on, and will otherwise remain almost invisible in the headlamp unit, giving an homogenous appearance. It also features a slick, cutting-edge interference and absorber coating. These can be used to replace amber bulbs in indicator applications.

COOL BLUE® BOOST The COOL BLUE® BOOST halogen range has had a few enhancements to the features of the product that include a hyper white LED light look and a colour temperature of up to 5,500K as well as enhanced brightness. We are pleased to add to our range of driving lights the VX1000 lightbar. With 36 powerful, high-performance OSRAM long-life LEDs, it has a range of up to 525 metres and offers drivers impressive foresight on-road and off-road. With a colour temperature of up to 6000K it provides a light colour similar to daylight and homogeneous light distribution. Whether on-road or off-road the VX1000 impresses with its powerful performance and a long service life of up to 5000 hours. Thanks to highquality materials such as the aluminum housing and the stable polycarbonate lens, it is particularly light and at the same time robust and resistant. The integrated driver and the thermal management system regulate the temperature of the LED Lightbar and can thus prevent damage from overheating.
