The box’s configuration is transformed in such a way that the building is curved and tilted by 15 degrees so as to catch the eyes of the people passing on the main road in front of it. The masses of the building facing west and east have more solid facades. On the north (rear) side, a terrace and a swimming pool are built with the panoramic view of Semarang City.

Wooden lattices installed repeatedly and symmetrically are used as a cover/undercover for the room within. In addition to functioning as the elements of building facades that filter the incoming sunlight, these ornaments at the same time produce shading that comes in as a natural interior ornament of the building.

Temporary Retail Walk PT. URBANE INDONESIA, www.urbane.co.id (assistant architect) Megakuningan, Jakarta Selatan 2 Stories 41.196 m2 36.685 m2 The concept of a temporary retail building is realized by providing areas of restaurants, cafes, retails, inner courts, and game zones. To support this concept, the temporary retail building is divided into several masses. The space in between the masses is useful as a support for air circulation and serves to accommodate outdoor activities, such as cafes and food courts, designed using container trucks.

Interface Area

Understanding the concept of worship as an activity performed through human’s movements in space, as well as the experience encountered by that human as s/he moves and undergoes interaction of meanings as a result of his/her movements, the mass composition in the design of Bintang Samudra Park constitutes a symbolic role in addition to being a medium of spatial activities.

Stasi View

Implicitly, the configuration of the building masses with a strong square shape as the base is a representation of human being in the midst of nature, attempting to get closer to God through symbols embodied in functions and programs. The materials of each building block are dominated by exposed cement, concrete, crushed stone composition, terrazzo tiles, and perforated screen panels. Especially for the cross road area, the materials of the mission station are dominated by rusted iron sheets, as well as special exposure glasses for station 15.

Bandung Art Theater Studio Final Project Gedebage, Bandung 1 Stories 19.000 m2 9.000 m2 Designed based on the concept of sustainable architecture, by implementing 4 strategies, namely landscape strategy, water strategy, green facade, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. The approach used to design the landscape of this art building is to exploit the potentials of plants grown in the area of visitor circulation. The water strategy is translated into pools to accommodate rainwater overflow collected in the roof garden, then distributed to water consumption points. The green facade consists of vertical gardens and building openings which are designed to allow the air to flow into the room.

This drop-off area becomes a space that creates an interaction between the outer space and inner space. To make it easier for visitors to navigate, the lobby is designed not to display too many signs as this can be confusing to visitors, and only present a simple accent to the arrival area. The concept of open space is applied to the exterior as a sitting and relaxing space in addition to being a space for visitors to socialize. It is designed to be open and transparent (welcoming) by presenting a landscape with a plaza and open space for public. Tropical vegetation is also used in the design so that the building can be in harmony with the environment and the local climate. Sculpture Area Open Space Park and Lake
