Before starting with the installation, please take a few minutes to read the instructions and advices in this booklet. Warranty Before proceeding to the installation, it's very important to ensure that the interior of the water pipes is clean, look for calcareous residue, sand, solder or any other particles. This Riobel product includes a Limited lifetime warranty on the finish and all working parts and is guaranteed from the initial purchase date against all manufacturing defects. The warranty offered on our products will be honored only if the installation is made by a certified master plumber. The warranty does not cover:  installation or removal charges;  normal wear of the components;  units that have not been installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and in conformity with the rules, codes and laws currently governing plumbing installation;  all problems resulting of improper care or use of inappropriate cleaning products. Do not use acid detergents, abrasive sponges, metallic pads, alcohol-based detergents, disinfectants or other solvents;  damages caused by hard water, calcareous deposits or sediments. In case of any problems, the defective parts must be returned correctly packaged with the original proof of purchase to your original retailer. Only Riobel inc. can decide to replace a defective product; or if not available, the defective product will be replaced by a similar one. This warranty is applicable to the original buyer as long as he owns the property, with proof of purchase and it is not transferable. From under the worktop, slide the diverter (12) into the hole with a nut (10), a washer (9) and a gasket (8) for under the worktop and a gasket (8), a washer (9) and the diverter top nut (3) above the worktop. Screw the diverter top nut (3) all the way and finalize the assembly under the worktop by tightening the nut (10). Fit the spout (2) over the diverter top nut (3) and pay attention to slide the diverter rod (5) correctly and smoothly in the spout hole. Fix it with the set screw (4). Screw the knob (1) on the diverter rod (5). Insert the decorative ring (16) and its gasket (17) on the mono-control unit (15). Slide the flexible hoses and the mono-control unit assembly (15) into the hole next to the tub spout. From under the worktop, slide on the threaded part of the mono-control unit (15), the gasket (18), the washer (19) and screw the nut (20) all the way. Assemble the water outlet hose (11) from the mono-control unit (15) to the diverter (12) of the tub spout. In the last hole, insert the threaded shaft (25) and the deck flange (24). From underneath, finish the assembly with its gasket (26) and screw the nut (27) all the way. Screw a male connection of the hand shower hose (22) to the hand shower (21), don't forget the gasket. Slide the decorative flange (23) on the hand shower hose (22) and screw it to the hand shower (21) then pass the other extremity into the deck flange (24). Fix together the hand shower hose (22) and the flexible hose (14), don't forget to use the gasket. Connect the flexible hose end (14) to the diverter connection (12). Connect the water supplies to the hoses (see drawing for hot and cold position). Check all joints for leaks.

Insérer, par le dessous du plan de travail, le déviateur (12) dans le trou en enfilant un écrou (10), une rondelle métallique (9) et un joint de caoutchouc (8) et conserver l'autre joint de caoutchouc (8), une rondelle métallique (9) et l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (3) pour le dessus. Visser jusqu'au bout l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (3) et par la suite, finaliser l'assemblage sous le plan de travail en serrant l'écrou (10). Insérer le bec (2) sur l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (3) en prenant bien soin de glisser la tige du déviateur (5) dans le trou du bec prévu à cet effet. Visser la vis de serrage (4). Visser le pommeau (1) sur la tige du déviateur (5). Insérer l’anneau décoratif (16) et son joint d’étanchéité (17) sur l’unité mono-contrôle (15). Glisser les tuyaux flexibles et l’assemblage de l’unité mono-contrôle (15) dans le trou à coté du bec de bain. Sous le plan de travail, placer sur la partie filetée de l’unité mono-contrôle (15) le joint d’étanchéité (18), une rondelle métallique (19) et visser l’écrou (20) jusqu’au bout. Assembler le tuyau de sortie d’eau (11) de l’unité mono-contrôle (15) au déviateur (12) du bec de bain. Dans le trou restant, insérer le tube fileté (25), la base de douchette (24). Par le dessous du plan de travail, assembler le joint de caoutchouc (26) et visser l’écrou (27) jusqu’au bout. Visser un bout mâle du tuyau de la douchette (22) sur la douchette (21) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Insérer la bague décorative (23) sur le tuyau de la douchette (22) de façon à ce que vous puissiez la visser sur la douchette (21) et passer l'autre extrémité du tuyau (22) dans la base de la douchette (24). Assembler le tuyau de la douchette (22) avec le tuyau flexible (14). Effectuer le branchement du tuyau flexible (14) sur le déviateur (12). Effectuer le branchement des conduites d’eau (voir le dessin pour l’emplacement de l’eau chaude et l’eau froide). Faites une vérification des jonctions pour détecter toutes fuites.

Important: For the handle adjustment, put the cartridges in the off position (cold side turn counterclockwise, hot side turn clockwise).

On each spindles (8), put one set including a nut (5), a washer (6) and a gasket (7). Insert each spindle from under the worktop. Use another set on top. At this point, you must adjust the position of the spindles according to with the height of your flanges (4). B. Assemble the flanges (5) and the handles (4), and adjust the handles position. C. From under the worktop, slide the diverter (19) into the hole between the two handles hole with a nut (17), a washer (15) and a gasket (16) for under the worktop and a gasket (16), a washer (15) and the diverter top nut (14) above the worktop. For Amy and Elegance series, insert the base ring of the spout between the washer (15) and the diverter top nut (14) (Image #1.) D. Screw all the way the diverter top nut (14) and finalize the assembly under the worktop by tightening the nut (17). E. Fit the spout (12) over the diverter top nut (14) and pay attention to slide the diverter rod (10), if necessary, correctly and smoothly in the spout hole. Fix it with the set screw (11). F. Connect the flexible hoses (18) from the spindles (8) to the diverter (16). G. For the model without hand shower go to step K. Screw the knob (9) to the diverter rod (10). H. In the last hole, install the threaded shaft (27), the hand shower flange (26). From underneath, finish the assembly with its gasket (21) and screw the nut (22) all the way. I. Screw the male connection of the hand shower hose (24) to the hand shower (23), don't forget the gasket. Slide the decorative flange (25) on the hand shower hose (24) and screw it to the hand shower then pass the other extremity into to the deck flange (26). J. Fix together the hand shower hose (24) and the flexible hose (20), don't forget to use the gasket. Connect the flexible hose end (20) to the diverter connection (19). K. Connect the water supplies to the spindles: hot on the left and cold on the right. L. Check all joints for leaks. *The orientation of the gasket (7) is important: the ridge on it is there to help center the spindle (8) in the opening. The spindle with the mark is for the cold water side.

Enfiler un autre ensemble sur le dessus. Vous devez ajuster, en hauteur, la position des pivots (8) selon la hauteur des bases des poignées (4). Procéder au montage des poignées (3) et de leurs bases (4), ajuster la position des poignées. Insérer, par le dessous du plan de travail, le déviateur (19) dans le trou qui est entre les poignées, en enfilant un écrou (17), une rondelle métallique (15) et un joint de caoutchouc (16). Par la suite, insérer par le dessus, un autre joint de caoutchouc (16), une rondelle métallique (15) et l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (14). Pour séries Amy et Elegance, insérer l’anneau de base du bec entre la rondelle métallique (16) et l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (14) (Image #1). Visser jusqu'au bout l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (14) et par la suite, finaliser l'assemblage sous le plan de travail en serrant l'écrou (17). Insérer le bec (12) sur l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (14) en prenant bien soin, s'il y a lieu, de glisser la tige du déviateur (10) dans le trou du bec prévu à cet effet. Visser la vis de serrage (11). Effectuer le branchement des tuyaux flexibles (18) du déviateur (16) jusqu'aux pivots (8). Pour le modèle sans douchette passer à l'étape K. Assembler le pommeau (9) en le vissant sur la tige du déviateur (10). Dans le trou restant, insérer le tube fileté (27) avec la base de douchette (26). Sous le plan de travail, assembler le joint de caoutchouc (21) et visser l'écrou (22) jusqu’au bout. Visser le bout mâle du tuyau de douchette (24) sur la douchette (23) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Insérer la bague décorative (25) sur le tuyau de douchette (24) de façon à ce que vous puissiez la visser sur la douchette (23) et passer l'autre extrémité du tuyau dans la base de la douchette (26). Assembler le tuyau de la douchette (24) avec le tuyau flexible (20) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Effectuer le branchement du tuyau flexible (20) sur le déviateur (19). Effectuer le branchement des conduites d’eau : chaude à gauche et froide à droite. Faites une vérification des jonctions pour détecter toutes fuites.

*L’orientation des joints d’étanchéité (7) est importante. Les renflements servent à positionner les pivots (8) au centre des trous. Le pivot avec les marques servira pour le coté de l'eau froide.

Visser un bout mâle du tuyau de douchette (23) sur la douchette (22) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Insérer la bague décorative (24) sur le tuyau de la douchette (23) de façon à ce que vous puissiez la visser sur la douchette (22) et passer l'autre extrémité du tuyau dans la base de la douchette (25). Assembler le tuyau de la douchette (23) avec le tuyau flexible (14). Effectuer le branchement du tuyau flexible (14) sur le déviateur (12). From underneath the worktop slide the spindles (7) in the proper holes with a nut (6), washer (5) and a gasket (4) in this particular order. You should screw the nuts (6) all the way (for final adjustment). Over the worktop, screw the decorative ring (2) / o-ring (3) onto the spindle (7) enough to see both threads. Screw the handle assembly (1) onto the spindle (7) all the way. DO NOT TIGHTEN. Check position of the handle at that point. Tighten the decorative ring (2) on the handle assembly (1) by unscrewing the decorative ring (2). Finalize the assembly by tightening the nut (6) underneath the worktop. Insert the spout assembly (10) into the decorative ring (11) and the o-ring (12). Slide the spout assembly into the center hole. From underneath, insert onto the threaded shaft (30) a gasket (31), a washer (32) and screw on the nut (33). Screw the "T" fitting (34) on the threaded shaft (30) all the way. For the model without hand shower go to step L. Insert the diverter (20) from underneath, in the proper hole with a nut (35), a washer (22), and a gasket (21) and from above the worktop a gasket (19), a washer (18) and the diverter top nut (17). Before tightening the two nuts, you must adjust the height of the diverter according to its flange (16) and handle (15). Screw the diverter flange (16) on the diverter top nut (17). Put on the diverter handle (15) and use the screw (14) to maintain it in position. Snap the diverter handle cap (13) in position. In the last hole, insert the threaded shaft of the deck flange (27) and the o-ring (26). From underneath, finish the assembly with its gasket (27) and screw the nut (29) all the way. Screw the male connection of the hand shower hose (24) to the hand shower (23), don't forget the gasket. Slide the decorative flange (25) on the hand shower hose (24) and screw it to the hand shower (23) then pass the other extremity into the deck flange (27). Fix together the hand shower hose (24) and the flexible hose (38). Don't forget to use a gasket. Connect the flexible hose end (38) to the diverter connection (20). Connect the flexible hoses (37) between the "T" fitting (34) and the diverter (20). If you have the hand shower model, connect the flexible hoses (36) from the spindles (7) to the diverter (20), if not, connect the spindle (7) to the "T" connection (34). Connect the water supplies to the spindles: hot on the left and cold on the right. Check all joints for leaks.

*The orientation of the gasket (4) is important. The ridges on it are there to help center the spindle (7) in the opening.

Vous devez ajuster la position des pivots en hauteur, comme démontré sur le détail A. Procéder au montage des poignées (1) et de leurs bases (3), ajuster la position des poignées. Insérer, sous le plan de travail, le déviateur (22) dans le trou qui est entre les poignées en enfilant un écrou (21), une rondelle métallique (13) et un joint de caoutchouc (14). Pour le dessus, insérer un joint de caoutchouc (14), une rondelle métallique (13) et l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (12). Visser jusqu'au bout l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (12) et par la suite, finaliser l'assemblage sous le plan de travail en serrant l'écrou (21). Passer l’assemblage dans le trou central. Par le dessous du plan de travail, insérer sur le tube fileté (30), un joint de caoutchouc (31), une rondelle métallique (32) et visser l’écrou de laiton (33). Ensuite visser jusqu’au bout la connexion en "T" (34) sur le tube fileté (30). Pour le modèle sans douchette passer à l'étape L. Introduire le déviateur (20), par le dessous du plan de travail, dans son trou assigné avec un écrou de laiton (35), une rondelle métallique (22) et un joint de caoutchouc (21). Pour l’assemblage sur le dessus de la surface, utiliser un autre joint de caoutchouc (19), une rondelle métallique (18) et finir avec l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (17). Avant de serrer les deux écrous, ajuster la hauteur du déviateur selon la hauteur de la poignée du déviateur (15) et de la base (16). Visser la base de la poignée du déviateur (16) sur l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (17). Placer la poignée (15) sur le dessus et utiliser la vis (14) pour la maintenir en place. Installer le capuchon sur la poignée (13). Dans le trou restant, insérer le tube fileté, la base de douchette (27) et le joint torique (26). Par le dessous du plan de travail, assembler le joint de caoutchouc (28) et visser l’écrou (29) jusqu’au bout. Visser un bout mâle du tuyau de douchette (24) sur la douchette (23) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Fit the spout (14) over the diverter top nut (15) and pay attention to slide the diverter rod (24) correctly and smoothly in the spout hole. Fix it with the set screw (13). Insert the lever (12) on the diverter rod (24) and fix it with the set screw (11). Screw the male connection of the hand shower hose (19) to the hand shower (18), don't forget the gasket. Slide the decorative flange (20) on the hand shower hose (19) and screw it to the hand shower (18) then pass the other extremity into the deck flange (21). Connect the flexible hoses (23) from the spindles (7) to the diverter (24). Fix together the hand shower hose (19) and the flexible hose (26), don't forget to use the gasket. Connect the flexible hose end (26) to the diverter connection (24). Connect the water supplies to the spindles: hot on the left and cold on the right. Check all joints for leaks.

*The orientation of the gasket (8) is important. The ridge on it is there to help center the spindle (7) in the opening. The spindle with the mark is for the cold water side.

Introduire les pivots (7), par le dessous du plan de travail, dans leurs trous assignés avec un écrou de laiton (10), une rondelle métallique (9) ainsi qu’un joint de caoutchouc (8) dans cet ordre précis. Vous devez visser l’écrou (10) jusqu’au bout, ceci vous servira pour l'ajustement final. Par ledessus du plan de travail, visser l'anneau décoratif (5) / joint torique (6) sur le pivot (7) assez pour voir les deux séries de filets. Visser la bague décorative (4) sur le pivot (7) jusqu'au bout. NE PAS SERRER. Serrer l'anneau décoratif (5) sur la bague décorative (4) en dévissant l'anneau décoratif (5). Finaliser l'assemblage en serrant l'écrou de laiton (10) sous le plan de travail. Procéder au montage des poignées (3) et de leurs chapeaux (1), ajuster la position des poignées. Insérer, par le dessous du plan de travail, le déviateur (24) dans le trou qui est entre les poignées en enfilant un écrou (27), une rondelle métallique (28) et un joint de caoutchouc (29) et conserver pour le dessus l'autre joint de caoutchouc (17), une rondelle métallique (16) et l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (15). Visser jusqu'au bout l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (15) et, par la suite, finaliser l'assemblage sous le plan de travail en serrant l'écrou (27). Dans le trou restant, insérer le tube fileté, la base de la douchette (21) et le joint torique (22). Sous le plan de travail assembler le joint de caoutchouc (30) et visser l'écrou (31) jusqu’au bout. Insérer le bec (14) sur l’écrou supérieur du déviateur (15) en prenant bien soin de glisser la tige du déviateur (24) dans le trou du bec prévu à cet effet. Visser la vis de serrage (13). Insérer le levier (12) sur la tige du déviateur (24) et maintenir en place avec la vis de serrage (11). Visser un bout mâle du tuyau de douchette (19) dans la douchette (18) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Insérer la bague décorative (20) sur le tuyau de douchette (19) de façon à ce que vous puissiez la visser sur la douchette (18) et passer l'autre extrémité du tuyau dans la base de la douchette (21). Effectuer le branchement des tuyaux flexibles (23) du déviateur (24) jusqu'aux pivots (7). Assembler le tuyau de la douchette (19) avec le tuyau flexible (26) sans oublier le joint d'étanchéité. Effectuer le branchement du tuyau flexible (26) sur le déviateur (24). Effectuer le branchement des conduites d’eau : chaude à gauche et froide à droite. Faites une vérification des jonctions pour détecter toutes fuites.
