LANDSCAPING: Warmer weather in the upcoming weeks will allow crews to get out and mow areas that require attention. They also plan to apply herbicide for weed control. The bed crews continue the spring trim and mulch the beds. They had a mainline repair on Expedition last month along with a few minor issues. The irrigation system was winterized before the freezing temperatures and experienced no issues.

FENCE STAIN: The Governing Documents of Meridiana require all fences in public view to be stained. Many homeowners have recently reached out and inquired about the stain color. The stain color is Valspar Canyon Brown. Please CLICK HERE to see where to purchase the required color. The stain must be rolled on and not sprayed. It must be stained, not painted. We have begun sending letters for fences that are in need of staining or that are stained the wrong color. GATES: Please let us know if you are experiencing any key fob, EZ tag, pedestrian gate code or vehicle gate code issues. LIGHTING & ELECTRICAL: 1) Hanging lights in the Conservatory have been repaired. 2) Please report any monument signs or streetlights that need repair. 3) We have ordered parts to repair the glitch in the Meridiana solar tower at the Oasis Village.

Please do not remove “out of order” signs from the treadmills. 5) We have removed ripped flags from the light poles on the bridge and have ordered new ones. 6) New paddle boards have arrived and are ready for use. 7) We are working on repairing the broken rock cap at the sun dial located across from the City Park restrooms. 8) The cable on the pull machine in the gym is scheduled for repair and the 50lb dumbbell that was damaged has been ordered along with the ankle strap.

LAKES & FOUNTAINS: They checked all of the lakes at Meridiana this week. We are aware of all the fountains that are currently down and the lake management company is working on getting these back up and running. They were able to get quite a few back up and running on their last visit, however, the rain hindered their ability to complete all repairs. They cleaned all trash from in and around the lake.
ANNUAL HOA MEETING march 9 th | 6 pm
PET OWNERS: Please be mindful of your neighbors and pick up your pet’s waste. There are numerous dog waste stations throughout the community. Additionally, please remember the city of Iowa Colony requires all pets to be on a leash while out in the community.
Please join us for our upcoming Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 9th at 6:00pm via Zoom. The link and agenda will be provided on Townsquare community feed. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming meeting.
2022 ASSESSMENT: We are very pleased to announce that the 2022 Assessment will remain at $1,050. The assessment statements will be mailed this month. Assessments are due January 1st and late after January 31st. To make you aware of the timelines, Final Reminders will be sent on February 1st and any account not paid or on a payment plan by March 3rd, will be turned over to the attorney for collection. If you are a new homeowner and not sure if your assessments were paid at closing, please ask. We will help and answer any questions you may have. REMINDER: If you see any vandalism in the community, please report it to the Police Department immediately at 281.369.3444 or 281-756-2392. If you notice damage that has already occurred to any portion of the common areas, please report it to the HOA immediately.
