TEST EVENTS Test events are some of the most competitive events at Nationals. For most, the process is simple, a 100 question test completed in 1 hour. Because of this, more people tend to compete in each event, as preparation tends to be more focused on a singular subject, especially when compared to Performance Events, which have to focus on an additional role-play. Winners are determined by score and time.

ROLE-PLAY EVENTS Role-play events encompass some of the most difficult events to place in. To win these types of events, teams must have good speaking as well as test taking skills. Due to the nature of role-play events, you are expected to collaborate effectively with your partners when presenting a solution. However, before making it to the role-play round, teams must first take an objective test. The top 15 teams with the highest scores are then selected for the final round.
COOL FACT You can win as much as $1000 per person in a team event.
