Introduction

Yesterday
The window to the workshop was open. Through it we could hear the dull, regular sound of a plane on unfinished wood. The artisan used his timeworn hands to bring out the beauty of the wood hidden beneath the woodshavings.
And that’s how it all began...
Our company history – just like any family history – is an eventful one, made up of all kinds of acquisitions, expansions, mergers, renovations, reorganizations, and changes in direction over the years. The company’s founders and employers have stayed the course, remaining focused on the values that have guided them from the very start and striving for ever-greater customer satisfaction. Today Bonneville Windows & Doors is a market leader, spurred on by our customers’ appreciation for our tradition of excellence and quality.

Wood Species Wood in all its glory! Wood is both a cutting-edge material and one that’s rooted in tradition. It goes perfectly with any number of settings, while its durability, longevity, ease of use, and inimitable look make it the perfect choice for your home – and for the environment!
Eastern White Pine: Natural Beauty This venerable species is right at home from northern Georgia to northern Maine, and west of the Great Lakes. Because Eastern White Pine is stable, resistant to shrinkage, and uniform in color, it is highly sought after in the window and door construction industry. A light brown color with a hint of red, it goes wonderfully with classic decors.
Western Red Cedar: The Sweet Smell of Elegance Red Cedar hails from the Pacific Northwest coastline, from British Columbia to Alaska. It’s renowned for being highly resistant to rotting, and the fragrant species varies from shades of red or pink to light brown and ivory. Its rustic appeal adds a touch of class to any home.
Douglas Fir: Quiet Strength Douglas Fir is stable and well-known for its sturdiness and resistance to bad weather. It is cut vertically and is very popular in construction because it meets the highest quality standards. Brownish red in color, Douglas Fir grows west of the Rockies down to the mountains of Mexico.
Light up a whole new world of possibilities! Are you discreet or intense? When decorating your home, as in life, you should never be afraid of livening things up! Colored doors and windows are great-looking notes that combine to create a unique symphony of color in your home.

The international ENERGY STAR symbol is a simple way for consumers to identify products that are among the most energy-efficient on the market. Windows and sliding glass doors are now being added to the growing list of products in Canada, USA or other countries that can qualify for the ENERGY STAR international symbol for energy efficiency. Energy-efficient windows and sliding glass doors will save you money by reducing your energy costs. Not only that, they’ll help keep your home comfortable all year-round. They reduce outside noise and, depending on the amount of humidity in your home, will have a lot less condensation in cold weather.
Energy Star Qualifying Criteria For ENERGY STAR, windows and sliding glass doors are tested for their energy efficiency by either a U-value OR Energy Rating (ER) for each of the four Canadian zones. The four climate zones in Canada are based on an average annual temperature indicator called a Heating Degree Day that is the annual sum of the degrees of the average daily temperature for all days below 18°C (64°F). Zone A is the mildest region in Canada and Zone D is the coldest region. In USA, to qualify for ENERGY STAR, products must have NFRC certified U-Factor and, where applicable, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) ratings at levels which meet or exceed the minimum qualification criteria. Windows and skylights must meet the criteria for a given ENERGY STAR Climate Zone. Window, door, and skylight products must be rated under the NFRC 2004 procedures or the most recent procedures available from NFRC.

Outstanding Performance Bonneville, a tradition of reliability Reliability takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to Bonneville Windows and Doors. We go out of our way to offer you the best. Bonneville products are tested by independent laboratories that are AAMA/NWWDA certified, and bear the seal of quality that guarantees high performance.
The NFRC Rating, recognized certification The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) was formed to establish a uniform method for calculating and testing the thermal performance of windows and doors. Bonneville Windows and Doors has earned NFRC quality certification. The NFRC label now appears on all products, attesting to Bonneville’s consistent drive to uphold a reputation of quality that can be backed by such a widely-recognized certification.
The AAMA/NWWDA 101./1.S.2-97 standard, a guarantee of performance The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) and the National Wood Window and Door Association (NWWDA) are two national organizations recognized for setting the performance standards of windows and doors. Manufacturers join their programs voluntarily to ensure that their products meet stringent standards of quality. To attain this recognized certification, Bonneville products must meet strict requirements of structural performance (wind pressure), air infiltration and water penetration.
The Canadian A440 Standard – for maximum quality Windows meeting A440 standards are accredited by the Canadian Center for Construction Materials (CCCM) and/or the Canadian Windows and Doors Manufacturers Association (CWDMA), of which Bonneville Windows and Doors is a member. All Bonneville products are submitted to a series of tests executed by independent laboratories.
