VLP: Now An EquipmentShare Company

Dealership Roots:

Established in 1911 as a heavy equipment dealer, Victor L. Phillips Company (VLP) has a long history of serving mid-Missouri construction and heavy equipment markets. In 2020, the company joined forces with EquipmentShare, a fast-growing nationwide construction technology company, to enhance its products and solutions for customers and help them build better. EquipmentShare’s mission is to bring full visibility to the construction jobsite and give contractors more control over their day-to-day operations through technology adoption.

2021 Key Initiatives:

More than a rental company, EquipmentShare plans to outfit all retail equipment with its powerful fleet management technology to help contractors monitor, maintain and manage their fleet. Currently, EquipmentShare’s rental fleet comes standard with the technology, which can also be outfitted on a contractor’s owned assets —

regardless of make or model — to give them full visibility into their mixed fleet (rented, owned and new purchases) all with one system.

Customer Base:

Located in the heart of the country, we serve a diverse customer base ranging from small businesses to large commercial companies. We are excited to provide our customers with the tools they need to take part as this sector continues to rebound and grow.

Community Activism:

Our company is not only dedicated to helping our customers build better, but we are also committed to building up and bettering our communities. Our company partners with several charitable organizations to help those in need, focusing on veteran and service member support, nutrition and wellness, cancer research, disaster recovery, and personal improvement and mentorship. We also work closely with local food banks in each of our markets, nationwide.
