Quality has Tradition
MS Poseidon & MY Vita
Family-run Businesses
The I.D. Riva Tours fleet, whose tradition can be traced back to the 1960s, sees quality as an expression of its enthusiasm, hospitality and pride. The ships in our fleet are all privately owned by the captains and their families. Our many years of experience show that this is a very important point, because they look after their floating home during the summer months at least as well as they look after their house and yard. The captain‘s family not only personally ensures the safety and well-being of the guests on board. Throughout the winter, the ships are cared for with great care and love and prepared for the upcoming summer season. In addition, the Croatian Register of Shipping, in which all our ships are registered, carries out the most meticulous annual inspections in accordance with EU regulations. If a ship does not meet the high safety standards of the CRS, permission to carry passengers will not be granted.

Hospitality
The hospitality on board our ships is also a typical feature of family-run businesses, which is why we like to call them “floating family guesthouses”. That the name says it all is confirmed by the number of guests who return to the same ship year after year. The crew consists of the captain, cook and sailors. On board the ships there is a light-hearted, sociable atmosphere without stiff seating and dress codes. In addition to the booked half board, the captain invites you to a welcome snack and a Captain’s dinner.

Our Vessels
Our veseels are motorised sailing ships and motor yachts. They offer space for 13 to 40 people and differ in terms of their equipment. In addition to the corresponding cabins, they also have a saloon and a sun deck. It is difficult to answer the questions which ship is the best or which two ships are comparable. Ships can be built the same or similarly, but they will always differ from each other. This is because there are many factors that make up the quality of a cruise and contribute to the satisfaction of our guests. To make it easier for you to decide, we have divided the ships into four different categories, according to their equipment. You will find more information on the next two pages. The table “Technical data of our fleet” at the end of this brochure also gives you a quick overview. Furthermore, each ship is described in detail in this brochure. Here you will find interesting information not only about the ship’s equipment, but also about its history, its owner family and crew. Whichever ship you choose: We are sure that you will make the right choice for the most beautiful weeks of the year.
Our Itineraries
We offer cruises from four ports: Rijeka, Zadar, Trogir, and Dubrovnik. Every Saturday from 9th April to 15th October 2022, it’s “Cast off”! You can choose from 25 itineraries, please also see following pages. In addition to the classic one and twoweek bathing and sightseeing routes, captain’s routes and pirate cruises are offered, as well as four guided cycling routes and one hiking route. Also recommended for active guests are the three multi-active “Active & Cappuccino” cruises, which include a kayak or rafting safari as a highlight in addition to short bike tours, hikes and city tours! In addition, there are cruises for nudists on selected dates – from Rijeka and, since 2020, also from Trogir. If you would like to experience what it feels like to sail the Adriatic on a real sailor, we recommend the sailing trips from Rijeka and Trogir. Our tip for single travellers: On many ships, cab-
ins for single use are offered without a single
cabin surcharge.
