1. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds.

2. Full payment by the winning bidder must be made the night of the auction. Payment may be made by cash, personal check, American Express, Master Card, or Visa.

3. Items purchased MUST be removed the night of the auction unless otherwise specified.

4. The auction committee has endeavored to catalog and describe correctly the property being sold. The auctioneer reserves the right to make verbal corrections and provide additional information from the block.

5. By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against The Rivers School Corporation, the Rivers Parents’ League, the Rivers auction committee, or the donor. Neither Rivers, the League, the committee, nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the use of property or services sold.

TAX INFORMATION

1. For tax purposes, please check with your own accountant. In most instances, however, goods or services purchased at the auction are not tax-deductible. (The donor can deduct out-of-pocket expenses for his/her donation. Personal services that add to the value of the donation are not deductible by the donor.)

2. The Rivers School has made a good faith estimate of the fair value of auction items listed in the catalog. In the event that the purchase price exceeds the fair market value as shown in the auction

Having conducted over 700 events, his client list includes the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the American Red Cross, and the Larry King Cardiac Foundation as well as many hospitals, colleges, public and private schools, and professional sports franchises.
