MAYOR’S MESSAGE Riverton’s best days are most assuredly ahead of us! I am confident of this, knowing the quality of people who call Riverton home. As we look forward to the opportunities that 2022 will bring, I want to encourage all our residents to always look for ways, both large and small, to make a positive impact in the community this year. This could come as an act of service, volunteering your time with a school, supporting a community organization, picking up trash in your neighborhood, helping a neighbor in need, getting involved in city government, removing weeds from a park strip, supporting a local team or community group financially, or any number of other things. A simple thing you could do this year, as you are out in the community, is to keep an eye out for things that need the city’s attention. You can report issues that relate to any aspect of city government anytime on the city’s website at rivertonutah. gov/report or on the Riverton Connect mobile app. If all our over 45,000 residents each did one additional thing every month that had a positive impact in the community, we would be making our community better in 45,000 ways each month and 540,000 ways in 2022 alone. Now that is something to think about! Thank you for all you do to make Riverton a wonderful place to live. On behalf of our city government, I’m wishing you a happy and successful year ahead! Sincerely, Mayor Trent Staggs
