Riverton Community Calendar - 2021

Page 1

MAYOR’S MESSAGE Say goodbye 2020 and hello 2021! A new year marks the beginning of a new adventure. This year is set to be a historic year in which we begin to rebuild and recoup from the novel Coronavirus. The resiliency of our residents over the last year has been a testament to the greatness of our city. More than ever before, we will work unitedly as citizens, families and business leaders in building a community where we can all live, work and play. As the transition toward a sense of normalcy continues, we look forward to hosting our annual events that provide residents with the opportunity to become more involved in the community. This 2021 calendar has been created to provide you with information on what we have planned for the upcoming year. It is my hope that this year we can see record numbers in civic engagement with our recreational programs, city meetings and volunteer opportunities. The success of our many community events is determined by resident participation, so we encourage you all to come join us for the great events we have planned. Resident input is invaluable, so please don’t hesitate to reach out when you see problems or issues that need to be addressed or have ideas that would help us continuously improve this great community in which we live. Our outstanding city staff is ready and willing to support you and help in any way needed. Make sure you are signed up to receive our email newsletter and text message alerts so you’re always informed on updates, events and important information. Thank you for living in and contributing to the best city in Utah! We wish you and your family all the best in 2021.

Mayor Trent Staggs
