The presence of chestnut trees attests to its cultivation since the Middle Ages thanks to the monastic orders. On sale at the festival "ballotte" (boiled in water) and the "roasted chestnuts" (cooked using the perforated pan on the grill), but also cakes and pies, first and second courses which are the basic ingredients.
