DAY 1 – Arrival In Agia Efimia, Kefalonia

Kefalonia is known for its Robola wine and high limestone cliffs falling into azure seas. On arrival, we transfer by coach to the MV Aphrodite or MV Harmonia. Spend the day settling in or exploring the pretty resort of Agia Efimia. The Ionian islands were occupied for hundreds of years by the Venetians, as is still evident in the Italianate style of the houses, food, and the fortifications built to repel pirates and the Ottomans.

DAY 2 – Fiscardo, Kefalonia

We sail northwards, stopping for a swim at Antisamos beach, where scenes from ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’ were filmed. After lunch on board, we arrive at the attractive harbour of Fiscardo, with its charming mansions and villas. DAY 3 – Nidri, Lefkas

After breakfast, we sail to the island of Lefkas, which has verdant hills, high white cliffs on one side and tiny coves and bays on the other. After a swim in Sivota Bay, we continue to delightful Nidri for our evening stop. Nidri is surrounded by olive groves and pinecovered hills – simply stunning!
