place there are various activities we can find along the Narborough road, such as retail, service and civic. A study from London Schools of economic in 2015 revealed that food-related retail is the most noticable activity by 44% (LSE, 2015). followed by miscellaneous in second place, and also commercial service and civic respectively. By this evidence, we can call this street as mix-use area.

narborough road is located in strategic point, connected to city centre, education area and residential in a walking distance. there are 8 bus stops along narborough road (section between train viaduct to hinckley rd), making this area easy to access by public transport. however, this street has only 2 lanes for 2 ways that is very narrow for bus and truck, and also lots of junctions and intersections making traffic congestion in the rush hour.
SWOT study Strengths 1. has strong unique character as the most diverse street in UK. 2. easy to access from city centre and its surroundings. 3. has captive market such as, students and locals live in residential area. weaknesses 1. lack of green space and street furniture. 2. traffic congestion in rush hour. 3. monotone vista.
