I aim to design simple partis that create easily understandable building forms, plans, and organization. The experiences of a building should not be interrupted by confusion or being lost. Simple does not mean boring though, but actually allows for more creative design decisions to be made in the details and character of the design. Smart design does not necessarily mean doing the most elaborate design, but what is right for the building, environment, and community.
