WELCOME Fanø Free Folk Festival is back with 3 days of meetings between folk traditions and new musical experiments on the beautiful Danish island Fanø. In total you can experience more than 20 concerts with international and local artists as well as workshops and other activities taking place in and around the charming Sønderho Forsamlingshus in the village of Sønderho. FOOD AND DRINKS:
It’s possible to buy lovely, homemade meals for very reasonable prices friday, saturday and sunday. Also you can buy various snacks and of course a good selection of drinks. Don’t forget to taste the wonderful beer from Fanø Bryghus and snaps from Bjeskakademiet, which will be sold. Since the festival is in the heart of Sønderho, there are plenty of chances to try some of the local places, where you can also buy food and drinks.
MONEY:
Remember to bring cash, since we cannot accept credit cards at the festival. However, there is a cash dispenser at Fanø Sparekasse in walking distance from the festival.
WHERE:
The main stage of the festival is Sønderho Forsamlingshus right in the heart of the beautiful village of Sønderho. The adress is Sønderho Forsamlingshus, Gl. Byvej 8, Sønderho, 6720. Various events will be held in other parts of Sønderho: Sønderho Church, Sønderho Strandvej 1, 6720 Fanø Fajancen, Sønderland 5, 6720 Fanø Exners Kunsthandel, Kåvervej 12, 6720 Fanø
