Five Hacks To Make Your Hair Look Better Than Ever

Avoid Heat Styling

Heat can strip your hair’s elasticity, moisture and protective

layers. If you absolutely have to use that blow dryer, curling iron or wand, make sure to use a spray-in heat protectant.

Find a Silk Pillowcase

Cotton pillowcases can hurt your hair’s cuticles, while silk keeps the cuticles intact and your hair silky-smooth.

Lower the Shower Temperature

Excessive heat can strip your hair of needed nutrients and volume, leaving you with limp, frizzy hair. Keep the water warm until you need to rinse out the conditioner,

which locks the nutrients into your hair and keeps it shiny.

Know Where to

Apply Product

Shampoo goes in the first few inches of hair at the scalp, where you get the most oil buildup. Conditioner should go from midstrand down to the ends, where hair is the driest.

Wash Your Hair Less

While shampoo removes dirt and oil, too much can remove the good oils that keep your hair healthy and smooth.
