Why LIVE ON Campus Again?
Why LIVE ON Campus Again?
By Sylvia Cranmer, Housing & Dining Services Communications By Sylvia Cranmer, Housing & Dining Services CommunicationsIt is often assumed that after one year of living in the residence halls, all students move off campus. In reality, roughly 15% of the students living in the halls are either returning, transfer, or upper division students. Returning students who sign up during the Returning Student Housing campaign (open now!) have first pick of rooms before new students can access room selection. But sign up soon as spaces for 2024-25 are limited due to anticipated high enrollment and scheduled building renovations.

EASY, AFFORDABLE LIVING: Forget shared leases, splitting utilities with roommates, and shoveling sidewalks. On-campus living means one inclusive bill that goes directly to your student account with no negotiation required. With the increasing cost of off-campus rent plus all the additional expenses that come with it (think: food, water, trash, electricity, gas, yard care, parking, etc.), living on campus is a very convenient and affordable option.
